"title": "從若葉到涼山",
"desc": "排灣族分為拉瓦爾亞族（Raval）及布曹爾亞族（Butsul），涼山部落為布曹爾亞族中的巴武馬群（Paumaumaq，或稱北部排灣）。1934年（昭和九年），由當時的瑪家社與下排灣社部分排灣族人被強制遷移到離平地約三公里的山腹地帶，並成立ワカバ社（Wakaba，若葉社），由日人設駐在所管轄。1940年（昭和15年），因聚居地不敷使用，遷移至現今居住地。光復後獨立設為新瑪家村，並於1947年（民國36年）正式改名為涼山村（譯自ワカバ社名）。",

"desc": "涼山部落的土壤還孕育出豐富的農作物，包括小米、紅藜、樹豆、芋頭、花生、咖啡、芒果、芭樂等等，種植目的多以自給自足為主。<br><br>值得一提的是，涼山部落發展出來的混合作物農田，比如說在種植小米時，會混合紅藜一起種，因為紅藜的根較抓得住土壤，這樣一方面避免水土流失，另一方面又可以兼收多樣農作物的方式，可謂一舉數得。",

"title": "季節「耕」替讓土壤更肥沃",
"desc": "農作物生長好壞與土壤息息相關，因此族人會階段性的給土壤休息，不過度耕種。以小米為例，從10月份開始到12月，是收穫祭後第一次種植（涼山部落收穫祭約在7、8月間），並於隔年1月份採收，2月份進行鬆土；第二次種植為3月到5月，6月份採收完後休耕，直到9月份開始割草，並將雜草與牛糞混合，當作土壤天然的養分。如此循環，便可讓土壤有充分的時間回復元氣滿滿的狀態囉！",

"desc": "小米種植的時候，如果不趕快拔掉雜草，雜草會大量吸收土壤的養分，小米就不會那麼健康了。<br><br>然而，剛開始生長的小米與雜草不易區分，新手很容易就把兩者一起拔除了，此時記得趕緊去找經驗豐富的vuvu（部落耆老）請教喔。<br><br>此外，雜草不能全部拔除，目的就是為了借助雜草的抓地力，避免水土流失。",

"desc": "由於小米快要成熟的時候，會吸引無數的小鳥前來，因此農民會自製趕鳥神器。<br><br>趕鳥神器會隨著不同農田的鳥類而有變化，像涼山村的小米田容易吸引麻雀，農民便做了一個會發出「鈴！鈴！」聲響的搖鈴，只要坐在旁邊搖動就可以趕走麻雀。<br><br>不過趕鳥需要維持一個月，在旁邊搖鈴還是一件相當辛苦的農事呢！",

"desc": "據部落耆老口述，以前農田在採收時，農民會聚集起來到各家輪流幫忙，當有農民來到自家幫忙整理，農田主人除了照顧三餐，採收完成還會分享小米。現在因為生活環境的改變，改為給予薪資的雇傭方式，讓農民可以有更多的選擇，然而這並不是強制性的，也有農民彼此分享一塊田地，不計薪資而分享農事收穫。除了分擔勞力之外，農民來幫忙的時候也會交流農耕經驗，讓長出健康農作物的秘訣能夠繼續傳承下去。",

"title": "涼山部落面臨的環境轉變",
"desc": "據vuvu口述，涼山部落以前在山上耕種，憑藉著涼爽的天氣以及肥沃的土壤，不用靠肥料就可以使小米長得很健康。當時不需引水灌溉，跟著山上降雨的時節便可種植小米；砍樹的時候也不會全部砍光，以免水土流失，並將砍下的樹枝作梯田，燒落葉作堆肥，土地自然能回饋給涼山部落像黃金般耀眼的小米。<br><span><br>然而，現在環境改變，921地震之後，政府限制了山林可以耕作的農地，改以「禁伐補償」作為農民無法從事生產的補貼。此外，政府在推動農產品銷售時，並沒有考量到涼山部落整體規劃與永續發展，以紅藜為例，當時政府開設產銷班，積極推廣紅藜，造成一股風潮，最後卻因紅藜量不夠大、用原始方式脫殼無法通過機械化篩選等原因，無法作長期經營導致滯銷。</span><br><br>涼山部落面臨的環境轉變相當複雜，其中包含了土地面積縮減、農事收穫相對不足以及天然災害等等。因此，現在從事農業多是本身有其他經濟來源的農民，且多以自給自足為主。<br><br>註：<a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https://law.moj.gov.tw/LawClass/LawAll.aspx?pcode=D0130032\">原住民保留地禁伐補償條例</a><br>",

"desc": "值得慶幸的是，還是有許多當地青年對農事懷著熱忱。以涼山部落一個年輕女婿為例，部落耆老相當驚訝於他對農事的投入，他不怕苦、不嫌髒，也願意頂著太陽到田裡拔雜草，看到年輕人這麼有心，vuvu也很願意和他交流，一方面讓他在農事方面有更多的收成，一方面農耕的智慧也可以有人傳承。雖然農田面積縮減，收成相對不足，無法對外長期銷售，卻也增加了農作物的可能性，農民可以選擇自己有興趣的農作物耕作，遇到不懂的就向其他人請教，正是這樣人與人、人與土地緊密的聯繫在一起，讓涼山部落濃厚的生命力得以生生不息的傳遞下去。",
